Renovation Vision Sneak Peek!

This is your first sneak peek in to our renovation dreams! After years of collating magazine clippings and images on Pinterest, I got serious about making a ‘big picture’ vision board for our renovations.

Being a huge fan of mood boards, I knew I would always make one to represent the ideas we had for our renovations, but I didn’t expect it to be so helpful this early on in the process.

We refer back to this vision board constantly when making decisions about colours, layout and decor because it reminds us of the end goal. If we get distracted by an idea or inspiration, we can refer back to this mood board that prompts us to ask the question ‘Is this a part of the big picture vision?’

Of course, mood boards are forever a work in progress and I believe should evolve as your style and tastes does; but I think it helps to keep your ideas and thoughts in check, and to keep your vision consistent.
